Summer 2013: Degree Show

This website hosts a collection of interviews with Falmouth University Contemporary Crafts Level 3 students. They were recorded for ‘In the Frame’, a pilot research project exploring ways in which craft practitioners can use the Internet to better communicate with audiences. The students were invited to talk about their work in the run up to their Degree Show. The videos are intended to be viewed alongside the exhibited work.

Supercrafted is a two-year research project within the Autonomatic Research Group at Falmouth University. The research explores digital technology innovation for crafts practitioners.

The exhibition is open to the public at the Design Centre, Penryn Campus, Cornwall, TR10 9EZ, from Saturday 15 – Friday 21 June (closed for external assessment: 17 June, Penryn Campus). Selected work can also be seen at New Designers (Part One) Wednesday 26 – Saturday 29 June 2013. Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1 0QH.
